Passion Growers was selected as the official rose of the rose bowl. Jaramillo Design was fortunate enough to work on projects in conjunction with Passion Growers and the Rose Bowl. Passion Grower roses that were photographed by Jaramillo Design in Bogota, Colombia were used on the big screen for promotion of Passion Growers. It was great to see the logo design and photography by Jaramillo Design up on the big screen. It was also great to see an exciting game between TCU and Wisconsin. Looking forward to next year!
Custom tailored shirts are Slix’s lastest product. We shot the product over two days and after seeing it in person I had to have one. I am the type of person who has a hard time finding a dress shirt that fits right. I don’t fit into a medium because the sleeves are too short and a large is too big. I sent Greg Hall, the owner of Slix, my shirt measurements. Within a couple weeks I received my first custom shirt. Upon arrival of this new real fitting shirt, I was a little upset because I knew that after wearing this I would never be able to buy a shirt from a department store again. I still try to wear the other dress shirts from my closet but they don’t compare to the comfort and fit of Slix custom tailored shirts.
I had a lot of fun designing the ecatalog and taking photos of the product. Currently, you can place the orders over the phone. You will be able to order the shirts online in the very near future. We are working on a user-friendly way to create your custom shirt online.

You know how impossible it is to get a baby to look, smile, and be happy IN FRONT of a camera. I had the responsibility for doing this for 18 kids between the ages of 3 months and 4 years old. Interacting with this many children in one day, gives me a deeper appreciation for teachers…especially preschool teachers.
Harmonium is a non-profit organization that provides family support services for the San Diego area. The funds raised are being used to support teacher professional development in their school programs and to provide students additional materials to support learning.
Jaramillo Design is proud to be a part of an up and coming charter school named City Heights Prep. CHP will be a middle and high school designed to provide the highest quality education in a neighborhood that is struck by poverty. The branding project establishes the school’s identity as strong, but still friendly and supportive. Jaramillo Design has a deep-rooted passion for this project as Michael’s wife is a school teacher in a school with similar demographics.
“Being John Daly is a reality show on John Daly’s life and his challenges in re-establishing his presence in the golf world.
It was my first experience being on the productions set of a reality show. We were shooting some photos for Slix. While I was shooting, I had three cameras and a mic pointed in my direction. I realized that I will stick to being the one taking the photos instead of the one being taken photos of.
The news broke on John Daly being the “underwear model” for Slix. It was quite a story for ESPN, The New York Times, and several Golf magazines. Not only the fact that he was raving about the new underwear line but that he had also lost over 100 pounds. I was fortunate to be able to shoot the images for Slix and be able to meet John Daly. We had a great time and we were able to create some unique images for the Slix website and marketing materials.
